The jury found Kristina Lowe, now 21, guilty of two counts of vehicular manslaughter and one count of leaving the scene of an accident.

Portland's WMTW reported that Jurors did not find her guilty of two DUI charges, . Police said that the cars accidents ocurred when Lowe was leaving a party on Jan. 7, 2012, with three friends when she lost control of her car on an ice patch, police said.

The Sun Journal reported that the two passengers in the back seat Rebecca Mason 16 and  Logan Dam 19  were killed. While Kristina Lowe and 22-year-old Jacob Skaff, who was in the front passenger's seat, broke their backs in the accident,

Police said Lowe was drinking at the party, even when a blood test showed that her blood alcohol content was .04 percent, below Maine's .08 percent legal limit. Some Witnesses at the party said she was "visibly drunk" that night.

Which draws attention that after cars accidents, Skaff and Lowe left of the wrecked car and walked  back to the party they had just left.

Skaff, now 24, testified in exchange for protection from prosecution.
Kristina Lowe faces sentencing. She could be given more than 60 years in prison for cars accidents.
